It’s not just fans who are delighted about Jennifer Aniston’s new love. Adam Sandler is also celebrating his good friend’s relationship.
Jennifer Aniston, 56, has found new love in Jim Curtis, 50. Not only are fans of the Hollywood star delighted, but so is a long-time celebrity friend and colleague of the actress: Adam Sandler, 59.
Aniston just made her first public appearance with Curtis at Elle’s “Women in Hollywood” event. There, Sandler gave a speech praising her — not only highlighting her talent, but also celebrating the new man in the 56-year-old’s life.
Praise for Aniston
“She’s beautiful, she’s patient, she’s talented, she’s profound, she’s smart, she’s incredibly funny,” Adam Sandler said of Aniston, as seen in a video posted by The Hollywood Reporter on TikTok. “Her comedic timing is impeccable, and she makes me a better comedian when we work together. She’s an incredible producer, writer, and one of the best colleagues I’ve ever worked with. I love her with all my heart.” He added: “Aniston, you’re just the coolest and sweetest. You never stop showing love and care to me, my family, and all your wonderful friends.”
“Everyone in this room loves you, Jennifer,” he continued. “When we’re with you, we’re automatically happy.” He and his wife Jackie are “so happy that you and Jim found each other and are experiencing the love you both deserve. We love you, Jim. The whole world loves you,” said the actor to the applause of those present.
Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston have been close friends for years and have starred together in several films, including 2011’s Just Go with It, 2019’s Murder Mystery, and 2023’s Murder Mystery 2.
New love official for a few weeks
In early November, Jennifer Aniston confirmed the rumors circulating on Instagram and made it public that she is dating coach and hypnotherapist Jim Curtis. “Happy birthday, my love,” Aniston wrote on the social media platform alongside a photo she posted of herself hugging her boyfriend from behind. Shortly afterwards, the coach shared a series of pictures taken during his 50th birthday celebrations. One of them showed the couple in a similar pose. “If this is a dream, I don’t want to wake up,” he wrote.
A little later, the actress spoke about her new partner in an interview. “Hypnosis is just one of many activities he pursues,” the 56-year-old told Elle magazine. “He’s quite extraordinary and helps many, many people. He’s very special, very normal and very kind — and he wants to help people heal, overcome trauma and stagnation, and gain clarity.” She said it was wonderful to dedicate one’s life to such a task.
Speculation about a relationship between the two first arose in the summer. It could finally be the big happy ending for Aniston, who was previously married to actors Brad Pitt, 61, and Justin Theroux, 54.
