Eager with anticipation, singer Adele visited the construction site of her pop-up stadium in Munich, where she will perform a total of ten concerts.
It won’t be long until Adele, 36, kicks off her mini-residency in Munich: The British superstar will play ten concerts starting in early August in the Bavarian capital. The setup of the specially built pop-up stadium for Adele at the fairgrounds in Munich’s Riem district is already in full swing. Adele recently visited the construction site and shared her impressions on Instagram.
Adele is visibly thrilled
“This is all a bit bloody exciting,” Adele wrote alongside several photos she shared. One photo shows her dressed in a safety vest, looking at the pop-up stadium from a distance. In another snapshot, the singer is seen laughing in a construction vehicle.
And it’s not just Adele who is excited about the concerts in Munich: TV host Palina Rojinski, 39, commented that she “can’t wait” for the shows. Other fans also expressed their enthusiasm, commenting with hearts and sharing how “excited” they are.
80,000 people expected each night
The superstar will perform twice each weekend over a period of five weeks, starting on August 2nd. These concerts will be Adele’s first performances on the European mainland since 2016 and her only shows in all of Europe in 2024.
The specially constructed arena for the mini-residency is expected to have a diameter of about 300 meters, with around 80,000 fans fitting into the stadium each night. Less than a month before the concerts begin, tickets are not yet fully sold out.
