Pink celebrates Carey Hart’s birthday with a personal Instagram post, admiring her husband’s strength and unconditional love.
Singer Pink, 44, shared an emotional birthday post in honor of her husband Carey Hart, 49. In the Instagram post on Wednesday (July 17), she gushed over her “beautiful, patient, loving” husband, expressing that she is “so damn proud” of the former motocross rider.
“Lucky to have you in our lives”
In her post, the musician admired Hart’s resilience. “No matter how many times life knocks you down, breaks you, or just tries to break you, you get back up, dust yourself off, and come back better,” she wrote, adding, “You have healed your traumas on your own.” Pink is likely referring to Hart’s recurring health issues, motocross accidents, and the loss of his brother Anthony, who died in a motocross competition in 2008.
The singer also expressed her gratitude for her partner. “We are so lucky to have you in our lives,” she addressed him. She noted how her husband does everything for them and willingly puts his needs aside when necessary. “You go to the ends of the earth for this crazy family, no matter where and when,” she thanked Hart for his unconditional love.
A Relationship with Ups and Downs
Along with her heartfelt message, Pink shared several photos from their time together. The pictures show the couple on a boat, at a wine tasting, and with their children Willow Sage, 13, and Jameson Moon, 7. Additional images depict Hart in a hospital bed and playing baseball with his son.
Pink and Hart reportedly met at the extreme sports event “Summer X Games” in August 2001. They allegedly split in 2003, before reuniting a year later. Three years after that, they got married. In 2008, the couple announced their separation, but reconciled the following year. Their daughter Willow was born in June 2011, followed by their son Jameson five years later.
