Is Charlotte Casiraghi’s family vacationing without her? Her husband, Dimitri Rassam, shared some personal snapshots on Instagram featuring their son, Balthazar. However, Casiraghi is noticeably absent.
The last time Charlotte Casiraghi, 37, and her husband, Dimitri Rassam, 42, appeared together in public was in October 2023. They both attended the Cannes Film Festival in May 2024 but walked the red carpet separately. On May 21, the niece of Prince Albert, 66, stunned in a gorgeous gown at Cannes. Yet, the media focused on her left hand: Casiraghi attended the event without her engagement ring.
Since then, there has been confusion about the relationship status of the members of the Monegasque princely family. This confusion continued in July, as Dimitri Rassam shared private vacation photos on Instagram, and once again, his wife was nowhere to be seen.
Is Dimitri Rassam Vacationing Without His Wife, Charlotte Casiraghi?
The first private photo the film producer posted on his personal Instagram account shows his 5-year-old son, Balthazar, on a boat. Dimitri’s legs are visible in the picture, while the little one sits next to his father. Balthazar’s face is hidden by a baseball cap. A particular detail stands out: father and son are wearing matching outfits. Both sport the same green swim trunks with pink octopuses, making quite the eye-catching duo.
The second photo captures a stunning sunset, painting the sky in vibrant orange hues, while the deep blue sea provides a beautiful contrast. These two images only offer a small glimpse of the vacation. However, given the past few months, it raises the question of whether Charlotte Casiraghi is with her family.
Casiraghi and Rassam Keep Their Relationship Private
In recent months, neither the French-born producer nor the daughter of Caroline of Hanover, 67, has commented on their separate appearances. The couple has kept their relationship private from the beginning. Their wedding in June 2019 was also held away from photographers and onlookers.
Charlotte and Dimitri exchanged vows on June 1, 2019. Later that month, they had a wedding celebration with family and friends. Their son was born eight months earlier, on October 23, 2018. From 2019 to 2023, the couple only appeared together in public on select occasions, with the Cannes Film Festival always being one of them. Their separate appearances at this year’s festival were thus particularly noticeable.
