Susan’s Friday Night Dilemma
For Susan, Fridays had turned into a real headache. Her neighbor Jessica would always have guests over, and they constantly parked their cars in Susan’s driveway. After many ruined evenings, Susan decided enough was enough. She was ready to take action.
Frustration Reaches Its Limit
Every Friday evening, Susan would come home after a long day at work, hoping to relax. But instead, she’d find a stranger’s car blocking her driveway. This made her furious. She confronted Jessica several times.
“Jessica, this has to stop,” Susan insisted.
But Jessica just shrugged, not seeming to care. “It’s just one night. You can park on the street,” she replied dismissively.
A Night of Crisis
One night, things got really bad. Susan’s phone rang, and it was her mom. She needed to go to the hospital right away. Susan rushed outside, only to find her driveway blocked again by another one of Jessica’s guests. Panic set in—she had no choice but to call a taxi. That was the last straw for Susan. She decided she had to do something.
Plotting Her Revenge
The next Friday, Susan was prepared. As expected, one of Jessica’s guests parked in her driveway. But instead of getting upset, Susan calmly went outside and parked her car right behind the guest’s car, trapping it.
Later that night, there was a loud knock on her door. Jessica was standing there, furious.
“Susan, move your car right now! My guests need to leave!” Jessica demanded, clearly thinking Susan would give in.
But Susan had had enough. She looked Jessica straight in the eye and said, “No, Jessica. I’ve had enough of your parties and the trouble they cause me. This is my driveway, and I’m not moving my car.”
The Police Are Called
Jessica was livid and stormed off to call the police, sure that they would make Susan move her car. When Officer Miller arrived, he listened to both sides of the story. Jessica was still fuming, certain that Susan was going to be in big trouble.
But Susan had a clever plan. When Officer Miller asked her to move her car, she pretended to be tipsy. “I’d love to, Officer, but I’ve had a few drinks, and I don’t think it’s safe for me to drive,” she explained slyly.
Officer Miller looked at Susan, then at Jessica. “If she’s been drinking, she legally can’t drive. And as long as her car is parked on her own property, there’s nothing we can do,” he said with a shrug.
Jessica was furious, but there was nothing more she could do. The officer left, and Susan’s car stayed right where it was, keeping Jessica’s guest’s car trapped for the rest of the night.
A Final Act of Justice
The next morning, Susan decided to take her revenge a step further. She went to the police station and filed a formal complaint about the ongoing parking issues. Officer Miller, now fully aware of the situation, issued fines to Jessica’s guests for illegally parking in Susan’s driveway.
The story quickly spread around the neighborhood, and soon everyone was talking about how Susan had stood up to Jessica and her inconsiderate guests. From that day on, no one ever dared to park in Susan’s driveway again.
And Susan? She finally got her peaceful Friday nights back, with no more cars blocking her way.
