Meghan Markle turned all heads yesterday in Los Angeles. Her white dress is causing a buzz on social media.
The essentials in brief:
- Prince Harry received an award last night.
- His wife Meghan stole all the attention.
- The Duchess’s outfit choice made many fans swoon.
Last night was supposed to be all about Prince Harry (39), but Meghan Markle (42) stole the show!
The Duchess of Sussex made a stunning appearance at the ESPY Awards in Los Angeles. The mother of two wore a strapless white dress, her hair slicked back, and minimal jewelry.
On social media, one detail in particular is causing a stir. Meghan’s white dress closely resembles her reception dress from her May 2018 wedding.
Both designs look almost identical: a high-neck halter top and a long flowing skirt.
One user commented, “This style is timeless on Meghan – it reminds me of her wedding reception vibe.” Another added, “She loves monochrome! The dress reminds me of her second wedding dress.”
A sign? Recently, rumors of a crisis in the Sussex marriage surfaced again. Maybe Meghan wants to show with this dress: We’re doing fine!

Meghan kept her accessories to a minimum. She wore diamond earrings, a gold Cartier Love bracelet, and several rings – including her wedding ring.
The couple showed no sign of the controversy surrounding Prince Harry’s award. They beamed together.

Meghan Markle and the tennis star have known each other for years. The two became good friends even before Meghan met Prince Harry. Williams was also at Meghan and Harry’s wedding.
Prince Harry faces heavy criticism
Harry received the Pat Tillman Award for Service – which has sparked heavy criticism and controversy beforehand.
The award is named after NFL player Pat Tillman, who gave up his career to enlist in the military after 9/11. He died in Afghanistan in 2004 at the age of 27.
That Prince Harry, of all people, received the award did not sit well with many. Tillman’s own mother, Mary, was “shocked” by the decision to give the award to such a “controversial and divisive individual.”
She added, “There are recipients who are far more suitable. There are people in the veteran community doing tremendous things to help veterans,” she said. “These people don’t have the money, resources, or privileges like Prince Harry. I believe such people should be recognized.”
