Danni Büchner is not only appearing in various formats like the All-Star Jungle Camp this year, but she is also getting her own docu-soap.
Daniela Büchner, 46, is currently inundated with job offers. The year is only halfway through, and the reality TV star has already been seen in several formats. In the second half of the year, her career will gain even more momentum with her return to the Jungle Camp and her own reality show.
Career Start as a Power Couple
The trained hairdresser became known in 2015 alongside her husband, the pop singer Jens Büchner (1969-2018), in “Goodbye Deutschland!” The couple, along with their children, was followed for years as they started their new life in Mallorca. In 2018, they also joined “Sommerhaus der Stars” and established themselves as a solid TV power couple.
Since Jens Büchner’s death in 2018, his widow has been appearing solo in various TV formats. In 2020, she entered the Jungle Camp for the first time in honor of her husband, who died of cancer. She came third and currently holds the record for the most jungle trials ever with twelve. Other formats followed, such as “Promi Big Brother,” “Das perfekte Promi-Dinner,” and “Das große Promi-Büßen.”
Already Two Formats in 2024
In 2024, the mother of five, who has also made a name for herself as an influencer with 337,000 Instagram followers, was seen in two formats. In “Reality Queens – Auf High Heels durch den Dschungel,” she, along with her daughter Joelina Karabas, 25, and other reality ladies, gained more jungle experience during a tour through Suriname.
In “The 50,” she met 49 other reality stars in a castle in France, including Giulia Siegel, 49, with whom she became close friends. In the All-Star Jungle Camp, the two will face each other as competitors around the campfire.
Own Reality Show Later This Year
But that’s not all; soon, viewers will get even more personal insights into Danni Büchner’s life. Filming for her own reality docu-soap “Diese Büchners – Familientrubel unter Palmen” is already in full swing. RTLzwei announced a total of four episodes that will follow the single mother and her children in their daily lives.
For Büchner, her first own show is exciting. “There’s always something happening with us – my fans know that and now have the wonderful opportunity to follow me and my family on RTLzwei,” she enthused to the broadcaster. The air date for the episodes is not yet known.
Big Plans for the Legend’s Jungle
However, Daniela Büchner’s next big project is entering the All-Star Jungle Camp starting August 16. For “Ich bin ein Star – Showdown der Dschungel-Legenden” (also on RTL+ from August 15), she has set big goals. She wants to use this second chance at the crown to show everyone how she has “developed” over the past four years.
“I think a very different Danni will be in the camp of legends, showing who she really is. I exist as Danni, not just as ‘widow of…’. I carry more positivity, more courage, more will, and more strength,” RTL quotes her in the press release. At least she has definitely expanded her TV experience since 2020.
