News of the lottery win spread quickly through their small town, and it didn’t take long for his past girlfriends to show up at his door. Ella, Oona, Janette, Maureen, Kyra, and Vanna—all of them arrived, hoping for another chance. It was hard to ignore how suspicious their sudden interest seemed.
His mother, never one to hold back, didn’t mince words. “You found out about my son’s money and now want another chance? Shame on you!” she declared, sending them all packing.
