Drag Racing Star Tragically Passed Away At 33

Losing a loved one is never easy, but when that person is young, the pain is even more intense. This is how many feel after the heartbreaking death of Lizzy Muci, the star of “Street Outlaws: No Prep Kings.”

Lizzy was just 33 years old when she lost her battle with stage IV breast cancer. Her father shared the tragic news on Facebook on June 27. He wrote, “Lizzy was called to heaven at 11:25 p.m. tonight, surrounded by her family in the comfort of her own home.” He expressed deep gratitude for the support they received, saying, “We appreciate all of your well wishes and encouragement during her fight.

The family would appreciate some quiet time to grieve, process, and make plans at this time. As soon as we have new information, we will provide you with an update.”

Just a year before her passing, Lizzy bravely revealed her diagnosis to the world in an Instagram post. In 2023, she was diagnosed with triple-negative stage 4 breast cancer, and sadly, by the time it was detected, the cancer had already spread to her lymph nodes and liver.

Throughout her journey, Lizzy was open about the many treatments she underwent. She even traveled to Germany to get specialized treatment for her liver, demonstrating her fierce determination to fight the disease.

Although Lizzy’s life was cut short, her courage and spirit will always be remembered. She inspired many people, and her legacy will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those who loved her and admired her journey.

Obsessed with using words and stories as a way to help others, and herself, feel less alone, she’s incorporated this interest into just about every facet of her professional and personal life. When she’s not writing, you’ll probably find her listening to Taylor Swift, enjoying an audiobook, or playing a video game quite badly.
