William’s Betrayal and His Daughter’s Revenge
William’s heart pounded as his wife, Linda, stared at him with anxious eyes. For a brief moment, guilt gnawed at him. He knew what he was about to do would destroy her.
For 20 years, they had built a life together—a home, a family, even a small beef jerky business. But now, William had a secret. A young, exciting mistress who made him feel alive again.
“What is it that you wanted to discuss, William?” Linda finally broke the silence.
His throat tightened. “I’m seeing someone else, Linda,” he admitted, avoiding her gaze. “I didn’t want this to happen, but… I love her.”
Linda’s face turned pale. “What? You—you have another woman?” Her voice trembled with rage. “Answer me!”
William couldn’t meet her eyes. “She’s different. She understands me.”
“Do you even hear yourself?!” Linda exploded. “Twenty years of marriage! A daughter! And now you’re throwing it all away for some—”
Her phone buzzed violently, cutting her off. She answered, her face growing darker with every word.
“What?!” she gasped, her hands shaking.
William’s stomach twisted. He knew exactly what the call was about.
Linda slammed the phone down, her eyes burning with fury. “The house is being seized! We took a loan for the business, and you were supposed to pay it back! They need $80,000 NOW!”
William stuttered, “I—I couldn’t save enough—”
“You spent it on HER, didn’t you?” Linda screamed. “OUT! GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!”
Six Years Later – A Shocking Reunion
The blaring car horns snapped William back to reality. He stood frozen at a red light, lost in memories. Six years ago, he had walked out on his family, dreaming of a better life with his mistress.
Instead, his life had crumbled. His mistress left him, he lost his job, and now he was a broken man, drowning in regret and cheap alcohol.
But today was different. Today, he had a job interview.
At the beef jerky factory, he nervously waited outside the interview room. His past experience—though a failure—might help him land this job.
And it did. He was hired as a packaging operator.
On his third day, his manager, Mr. Dunn, smirked at him. “If you want to move up, William, impress the CEO today. She’s coming for an inspection!”
William barely cared. He just wanted to keep his head down and work.
But then, the doors swung open.
A confident young woman walked in, surrounded by executives.
William’s blood turned to ice.
“Isabelle?!” he gasped.
His daughter.
She turned, her eyes locking onto his. A slow, cold smile spread across her face.
“Dad,” she said smoothly. “Long time no see.”
William’s mind raced. “How—how are you the CEO?!”
Isabelle scoffed. “More interested in my success than my life? Typical.” She straightened her blazer. “Don’t let this distract you. You’re here to work. Meet me in my office after lunch.”
The Truth Comes Out
That afternoon, William sat across from his daughter, sweat trickling down his back.
“Aren’t you curious how I got here?” Isabelle leaned forward, her voice sharp. “After you left, Mom and I were homeless. We barely got anything from the house sale—thanks to YOUR unpaid debt.”
William swallowed hard.
“Mom gave me her last dollar so I could stay in school,” Isabelle continued, her voice cracking. “Then Aunt Georgina called… Mom was sick. Really sick.”
Flashback: Isabelle’s Struggle
Six years earlier, Isabelle sat outside her college admissions office, checking her paperwork. Then the call came.
“Isabelle, it’s your mom,” Georgina’s voice was panicked. “She had a heart attack. The doctors say if it happens again, she’ll need a $100,000 surgery!”
Isabelle’s world shattered.
She made a choice—she dropped out of college. She would use her tuition money to save her mother.
But she needed more.
Remembering her parents’ failed beef jerky business, she decided to revive it. She needed their old equipment—still inside their seized home.
That night, she broke in through a broken attic window. Dust and cobwebs filled the abandoned house as she searched for the kitchen supplies.
She found them—utensils, recipe books, even the old commercial oven.
Working in secret, she perfected her own jerky recipe. Then, she emailed samples to big retailers.
One replied.
“We love your product,” the email said. “But we need to inspect your factory.”
Isabelle didn’t have a factory.
Desperate, she struck a deal with a wealthy investor—Mr. Navarro.
“I’ll give you 35% of profits… and one-third of the money from our old house,” she bargained.
He agreed.
Within months, her business exploded. She got her mother the surgery, bought back their home, and built an empire.
The Final Reckoning
Back in the present, Isabelle’s eyes burned with fury.
“I survived, Dad. But I don’t forgive.”
She stood, signaling the end of the meeting. “Wait for me behind the warehouse.”
Fifteen minutes later, she arrived with two boxes.
“Open them,” she ordered.
William lifted the lids—inside were the old kitchen supplies from his failed business.
“Consider us even,” Isabelle said coldly. “You have everything you need to start over. Just like I did.”
And with that, she walked away, leaving William alone with the shattered remains of his past.
