“I’m Claire, a 29-year-old woman, and I’ve been married to my husband, who’s 40, for two years. We have a wonderful one-year-old son, and for nearly a year, we’ve had a babysitter named Lucia, who is only 20. We got her through an agency, and she has been amazing with our little boy.
Lucia is always full of energy, super patient, and exceptionally responsible. It felt like she just fit into our family, almost like she was one of us. My son loves her to bits, always giggling and reaching for her arms.
But things started to change a few months ago. I began to notice something strange between Lucia and my husband. They were always texting each other, and it didn’t seem to be just about our son or planning the day. No, there were jokes, random chats, and way too many smiles exchanged.
When I first brought it up, my husband brushed it off, saying it was just harmless fun. I felt silly for even mentioning it, so I pushed my worries aside and hoped for the best.
