Robert De Niro, the legendary actor famous for speaking his mind, recently made waves by revealing his deep disappointment with America.
The 81-year-old actor, known for his powerful roles in films like Taxi Driver, Goodfellas, and Raging Bull, is one of several celebrities thinking about leaving the country. In a heartfelt announcement, De Niro shared his plan to move abroad, saying he no longer feels the same respect that he once did in America.
“There used to be respect here. Now, it’s gone,” De Niro said, expressing his frustration over what he sees as the loss of values that once made the country great.

As one of Hollywood’s most respected actors, De Niro’s opinions are influential. According to Now and History, his choice to leave is driven by his belief that America no longer aligns with his personal values or the level of respect he considers essential. He feels the country has changed too much and not in ways that he can accept.
De Niro hasn’t revealed where he plans to go, but he emphasized the need to find a place that respects his principles, somewhere he can find peace and happiness. “For my mental health and happiness,” he added, “I need to be where my values are recognized.”

His decision seems to reflect not just his personal dissatisfaction but also a wider sense of disappointment that many Americans feel about the country’s current path.
The public’s reaction to De Niro’s announcement has been mixed. Some people agree with him, sharing his concerns about the state of public discourse and values in America. Others feel his decision to move is too extreme. But as reported by Space X Mania, De Niro stands firm in his decision to find “a place where my values are respected.”
De Niro has always been more than just an actor; he has actively supported causes close to his heart. His decision to leave the U.S. is seen by many as a symbolic gesture, reflecting the broader dissatisfaction people feel today and sparking debates about the need for respect and civility in society.
Hollywood will certainly feel the impact of De Niro’s departure. He has left a significant mark on the film industry with his unforgettable roles and performances. His decision to leave America, however, raises big questions: Is this just a personal choice for De Niro, or does it signal a broader trend of unhappiness among both famous and regular people?
Whatever the case, De Niro seems determined to find a new home where he feels respected and valued, a place that better aligns with the principles he holds dear.
I totally understand how he feels. If I had the means to move away from the USA I would go to. The government has become not only a joke, but I am terrified of what will happen if trump wins. The fact that half the people here support him is mind blowing. God help us!!
I totally agree!!! If I could afford it I would go to New Zealand. Not only for the breathtaking scenery but it seems to be a lot calmer than here. I also am terrified at the possibility of Trump winning this election!!! WHAT IS WRONG WITH 1/2 OF THIS COUNTRY?????????
