On September 23, 2024, The Voice posted a sneak peek of the coaches performing together on Instagram, giving fans a preview of what this dynamic group has to offer. In keeping with tradition, the coaches kicked off the season by performing a song together, and they chose “Heartache Tonight” by The Eagles. This classic hit from 1979 was the perfect way for each coach to shine and showcase their talents.

Snoop has been gearing up for his debut on The Voice for months. Just a few months back, he spoke about it on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. “Well, if you know anything about me, you know I love all forms of music. Snoop is also putting his own spin on coaching by offering special rewards to his top artists: Death Row Records chains, a nod to the iconic label he now owns. One contestant, Jake Tankersley, who gave a powerful performance of “Something in the Orange” by Zach Bryan, is among the lucky few in the running for one of these unique tokens.
